I wish I could promote your wonderful salon more - any suggestions? When I first met you my hair was fried - both inside and out. By making me happy with my outside, you helped me do better inside. WOW!  AMAZING!  ASTONISHING! LIFE CHANGING!  I am 25 years old with very naturally curly hair.  For years I have searched to do something different with my hair.  Every time I get a haircut I ask for suggestions from the stylist.  Usually they suggest some layers, or a simple trim.  Well, I have had trims and layers for years, but my hair was not framing my face, and still making me look too young, and frizzy.   I asked Kim if she had any ideas for my curly hair and she said yes!  She listened to what I was trying to accomplish but most important had the knowledge and skill to analyze what I wanted and suggest what would look best on me. Then she went to town snipping, layering, thinning, and face framing.   During this time she went as far as to teach me how to style it so the back would have more volume and how to keep my curls from frizzing.  The next morning my co-workers could not stop talking about my new look, even my male co workers complimented me!  Never in my whole life have I received so many compliments on my hair in one day!  I would highly recommend East of Eden Salon to anyone, especially those with curly hair!  It is so hard to find someone who listens and  knows how to cut and style curly hair properly.  I can’t wait to get my next cut and style at East of Eden Salon!

I live in downtown Minneapolis and whenever I need a trim I make the trip here because I have had nothing but good experiences. They are good at obtaining your specific style, and it is always fun to try something new. Keep in mind that to most people, getting a hair cut is just that, but to those in the business, lots of energy, and devotion to be good at what you do. In a way it is an art form, and the employees at East Of Eden salon are very good at being creative in their art. Even if all you want is a simple trim. The scalp massage and shoulder massage is very nice and is one of the reasons I go here. Often they will give me a hand massage as well if I ask. But all in all, I have nothing but good experiences here. They do push the products of course, but what do you expect, they are paid to do it. You don't go to McDonalds and expect them to not try and supersize it would you? you would never see me going in Mcdonalds but you get the picture. The same goes for clerks at a movie theatre, I have never had an occasion where someone doesnt try up-selling me to a large soda large pop corn deal

I got the best haircut and color ever! They gave me exactly what I wanted, I love that they use products from local companies. I also got a my nails done while I was processing. I love that they can team up and get things done together. Highly recommend this place.

This place is great, the girls are wonderful, they pay great attention to you. I was so sick of the places in the mall with the drills and spending a small fortune at spas. This is the place if you want an awesome Manicure, Pedicure or Acrylics. They do a fantastic job. The salon is great cause its a independently run salon, they treat you like family, they remember you, and its so relaxing. Try it you'll fall in love! They Rock!
